office resp. for providing technical support for Nordex windfarms in N. America. Prov tech guidance both remotely & in person to Techs in field. Supp field Techns w/ turb troubleshooting. Work w/ new Site Mngmnt & Tech teams to succ. perf day-2-day functions to higher lvls of perf & to report objs thru KPIs at the site level. 20% travel req. Pos. reqs Ass. deg. in Eng. (any) or a rel. fld + 3 yrs of rel. exp. Emp. will accept any suit. combo of edu, train, or exp. Pos. requires 3yrs of exp with Assessment & reading of schematics to diagnose electrical problems; Wind Farm Erection and Commissioning; Wind Turbine Generators (WTG); Experience leading field corrective actions to minimize turbine downtime both remotely and on wind farms; Travel to wind farms for on-site troubleshooting of wind turbine subsystem faults as needed; Ability to coordinate between on site and back-office teams to perform inspections and repairs to wind turbine components.
