Responsible for writing code using developer tools to create automated tests & automation frameworks to support applications, integrating with Bit bucket for source control, Jenkins for builds, & Docker for virtualization within AWS & using Java and/or Python & ROBOT, Jmeter, and Blazemeter frameworks in a continuous integration deployment model. Independently develops software through design, creation, maintenance & enhancement of automation frameworks with reusable components for standard automation tasks & collaborates with scrum team to support test case, including creation, test execution, & trouble shooting defects and leveraging static code analysis tools & production monitoring, for product scalability, reliability, consistency, & performance. Actively participates in & leads teams in design & architectural discussions, grooming user stories, sprint demos, & daily scrums to establish Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) approach & proactively owns all development related to testing activities, including anticipating & proactively planning test execution needs across sprints. Recommends product, infrastructure, or design changes. Responsible for department success and mentors, coaches & advises team members & supports junior team members. Requires Bachelor's degree or equiv in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Info Systems, or closely rltd field with 5 yrs of progressive IT exp, including coding in Java or Python, developing automated scripts, relational & no-SQL database skills (MongoDB, Raven), & use of JSON and XML; strong knowledge testing RESTful APIs & version control (i.e. Git) & Java &/or Python; and demonstrated ability to develop complex automation frameworks using OO & modern development languages & techniques, to integrate code into automated deployment pipelines for technology implementation, to develop solutions to technical issues, & to proactively own all testing activities related to Scrum team execution, including anticipating & proactively planning test execution needs across sprints as well as work as part of a Scrum team, following SAFe Agile practices.
