Under the direction of senior staff, conduct psychometric research for ACT products & services & conduct, interpret, & present the results of scaling, equating, calibration, & other psychometric procedures and research as well as provide consulting support to internal & external clients & prepare technical &/or interpretive materials for programs. Expected to acquire additional knowledge & skills in psychometric & statistical methodology for measurement research & develop a program for research, publication, & presentations at professional conferences on issues affecting ACT's business. Participates in the hiring & training of personnel & in the preparation of grant/contract proposals & assists with developing goals, objectives, & strategic plans. Requires Doctorate degree (with all coursework completed other than dissertation (ABD) acceptable) in Psychology, Educational Measurement, Statistics or closely reltd content area with demonstrated knowledge &/or skill in: psychometrics & mathematical statistics; computer programming & use of computer software, including statistical & IRT software, word processing, spreadsheets, databases, project management, & operating systems; & technical writing. Telecommuting possible after one year of employment from anywhere in the U.S. remote living benefit.
