CITY OF ROBINS seeks candidates for a full-time (40 hours/week)

Building Official/Superintendent Public Works. The position will require five (5) years of experience with working knowledge of principles and practices of modern building code enforcement and construction related to building, electrical, mechanical and plumbing trades. Additional requirement is

experience in working with public and supervisory skills; certification in trade related courses or equivalent practical experience. Valid IA driver's license, pre-employment drug testing and criminal history background check will be required. Duties include zoning

review, inspections and enforcement of all building and development-related codes; and enforcement of nuisance

related codes. Provide oversight and management of the Public Works and Street Department and supervision of department personnel. Will be

responsible for department operation, budget, code review and working with and assisting other department

personnel, public, boards and

commissions as determined or

required. Salary depending on

qualifications and range between $60K and $70K. Applications can be
