Product Engineer
Full Time • Waterloo Ia
Position: Product Engineer -Waterloo, IA
Primary Function:
Coordinates and exercises functional authority for planning, organizing, controlling, integration and completion of engineering projects within the area of assigned responsibility.
Solve problems relating to wiring harness and components.
Written and oral communication with internal/external customers and vendors
Travel for project reviews with customers and plants
Good organizational skills for tracking assigned projects.
Target and implement improvements relating to the product and operational costs.
CREO / ProE knowledge preferred.
Make changes to harnesses, distinguish various circuit identification markings, read and trouble shoot electrical schematics.
Track and report progress on projects
Support VA/VE activities in the department and plants
Utilize MS Office packages.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related discipline
General knowledge of CAD with a strong computer background.
Selected candidate must be open to the possibility of relocating.to customer sites.
Bi-lingual (English- Spanish) a plus
