The Eastern Iowa Airport (CID) seeks to fill the position of Director of Properties & Business Development. Responsibilities include creating and implementing strategic business initiatives for all airside and landside property management and business development. Work involves representing the airport and coordinating with various economic development partners, tenants, businesses, industry and property developers to identify and attract additional airport-based businesses and industries to enhance CID’s overall business profile, including lease administration, concession planning and oversight, airfield aeronautical business, commercial property development, and foreign trade zone activities. The preferred candidate should have strong interpersonal skills, be detail-oriented, have the ability to multi-task, have advanced knowledge and ability to negotiate business agreements, contracts, leases, deed, etc., have thorough knowledge of airport finance and administration. Bachelor’s Degree in Airport or Business Management, Public Administration, Economics, Finance, Communications, Marketing or related field and two years’ experience in a related field, or any combination which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work is acceptable. Starting Salary: $90,729 - $121,472 DOQ.
