Lead Salesforce Software Engineer

ACT Education Corp. is seeking a Lead Salesforce Software Engineer responsible for engineering next generation products/services and developing solutions using the Salesforce platform. Work with team to build solutions using Apex, Lightning Components, Flows, Salesforce Communities and custom integration. Analyze business problems, interact directly with internal customers, capture and document business requirements, maintain use cases/business process flows, develop and execute system test cases, and provide application training. Participate in design/architectural discussions, grooming user stories, sprint demos, and daily scrums to establish a BDD approach. Engage in Agile process and recommend product, infrastructure, or design changes for quality, performance standards, robustness, scalability and consistency. Collaborate to design, create, maintain, and enhance solutions with reusable components to be leveraged by teams. Collaborate with scrum team to support SDLC activities, including for product scalability, reliability, consistency, and performance and leveraging static code analysis tools and support production monitoring. Communicate with end users, stakeholders, and leadership through requirements gathering, demos, trainings, release notes, and status updates. Manage support requests and user admin needs. Mentor, coach and encourage development in Salesforce knowledge, skills and abilities organizationally. Remote employment available anywhere in U.S.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree or equiv in Computer Science, Statistics, IS or closely related field with 4 yrs progressively responsible IT experience or Bach degree or equiv in Computer Science, Statistics, IS or closely related field with 6 yrs progressively responsible IT experience. Experience must include 3 yrs Salesforce.com development using Lightning Flows and Lightning Components in Service Cloud, Sales Cloud and Experience Cloud (communities) and of Salesforce Admin and 2 years Salesforce solutioning/architecture, including exp. with Apex classes and triggers, version control solutions (BitBucket or Git), Apex sharing models, single sign-on configuration, Outlook Integration and Syncing, Release Management and Code Migration, and Omni Channel, Live Agent Chat, and Embedded Services as well as in setting up pipelines, code coverage analysis, overwrite protection, creating workflows in Qualtrics application, process builders, workflows, visual force, and apex coding, Docusign Apps Launcher, and Salesforce data model, custom objects, visual force pages; ability to manage Marketing Cloud app and create HTML email templates; certification as a Salesforce Advanced Administrator and Flosum Certified Professional.
