CITY OF WALKER, IOWA IS LOOKING TO FILL: Part-time Public Works Position:
Part Time • Walker
10-20 hours/week as needed. Salary starting - $15.00, negotiable, dependent upon experience and qualifications.
Duties as directed by the Public Works Technician including but not limited to: mowing, maintenance and repair activities using shovels, rakes, brooms, brushes, hand tools, and power tools, maintenance of facilities such as pavilions, playgrounds, and other sites typically associated with municipal public works, operation of both heavy and light trucks, snow plow and related equipment in an outdoor environment during all types of weather conditions, and some heavy lifting is required.
Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent, Possession of a valid Class B Iowa CDL license with airbrake endorsement, and mechanical experience with small engines preferred.
