For over 55 years, The Meth-Wick Community has served the Cedar Rapids community with a full continuum of care. We are seeking
a highly motivated individual to be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating individual, small, and large group fitness, as well as aquatic programming for residents in all
levels of care. The Fitness Assistant will be expected to provide quality programming that motivates, and enhances the overall fitness level of residents, while providing safe and effective instructions.
A successful candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in a health or fitness field (i.e. exercise science, kinesiology, fitness and human performance), or
a bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation with a fitness certification such as Group Fitness Instructor, or Senior Fitness Specialist. Experience with older adults is preferred.
