The University of Iowa Health Care, Department of Internal Medicine, has an opening for an Clinical Health Care Research Assistant to apply clinical skills requiring specialized licensing to deliver and evaluate research protocols. Participate in the patient management and clinical research studies in HIV-infected patients in the UIHC Virology Clinic as part of the Ryan White Care Program. Key areas of responsibility include research/clinical activities, protocol development and study responsibilities, subject recruitment and enrollment, data collection and monitoring, regulatory guidelines
and documents, human resources/leadership and financial responsibility. The primary focus of this position will be to provide nursing support for the Virology Clinic. The secondary focus of this position is to coordinate research studies
related to the Clinic.
