Utility Pole Inspector
Intec Services Inc. (INTEC), a Colorado Company currently has full time Utility Pole Inspection positions available nationwide. Currently looking for eight new Inspectors for work that will start in the Cedar Falls area and then be willing to relocate to the next job location where you are needed. The field technician positions require the ability to read maps and navigate in both urban and rural areas, do inspection of the facilities (may be wood or steel poles), and entering the inspection data in a field computer and preservative treatment of wood poles with decay or insect infestation. Field technician should be in good physical condition as some facilities will require hiking to gain access to them, with the ability to lift 60 lbs.
Applicants must have clean driving record, be willing to submit to Drug screening, motivated, computer literate, in good physical condition, and be willing to travel away from home for extended periods of time.
Pay rates for these positions will vary with experience. Those applicants with no experience but qualified will be paid an entry level rate of $13.00/hour during training and then $16.00/hour upon successful completion of the training, with the ability to advance from there. Inspectors will be issued a company vehicle after training, and when traveling paid subsistence. INTEC has a health plan, 401K, cafeteria plan, paid vacations and holidays that employees would be eligible for after a certain length
