applicants for the position of the MEMS Process
and Engineering Manager
is responsible for the design, configuration, and operation of complete building automation systems to meet the intent of the project requirements. He/she is accountable to field teams for quality, timeliness and efficiency of designs. The MEMS Process and Engineering Manager develops complex software programs, commissions and troubleshoots to ensure proper operations of the building control system. He/she also provides detailed information and submittals to communicate design and operation to customers, consultants, and subcontractors. This position will be required to work as a cross-functional engineer using analytical skills to review performance and sales information to institute changes in design maximizing product market value.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
5 years of relevant work experience, including:
Demonstrated knowledge of the construction or HVAC industry; control theory, automatic temperature controls, building automation systems and other building subsystems;
Demonstrated knowledge of continuous process improvement and incorporation into process flow maps and the implementation thereof;
Demonstrated experience in the integration of low voltage building sub-systems using various industry protocols (i.e. BACnet, LON, Niagra, etc); and
Advanced computer skills required, particularly computer-related drafting tools and Project Management software.
Minimum of 2 years experience in Design Control, Risk Management, and Statistical Analysis.
Minimum of 2 years experience in Strategic Fiscal and Marketing planning.
Limited travel as needed to client sites in Iowa for installation, job site inspection, and engineering of controls.
