Registrar Services Manager








The Carver College of Medicine is

seeking a Registrar Services Manager

to serve as Collegiate Registrar and to direct relevant student programs and services; to manage course and

clerkship schedules and maintain

academic records for students; to

oversee enrollment verification services

for graduates and provide academic

advising services to students; to

coordinate special events pertaining to students and to prepare reports and

statistics regarding enrollment and

instruction in the College.

The key areas of responsibility include registration and enrollment services,

data collection, analysis and reporting; records management; clinical year scheduling oversight; and budget

oversight for the registrar services unit. A Bachelor's degree in Business

Administration, Higher Education or a related field, or an equivalent

combination of education and experience is required. Considerable (3-5 years) administrative, supervisory and

program experience is required.

Reasonable (1-3 years) experience in public speaking, technical writing and/or teaching required. Excellent written and verbal communications skills are

required. Must be proficient in computer software and database applications. Demonstrated experience and skill in

advising, programming and planning,

and communications within a university and/or college setting is required.

Desirables include: Reasonable (1-3

years) related registrar or enrollment services function in a university setting is highly desirable. A Master's degree or equivalent education and experience is desirable. Knowledge of comprehensive electronic record keeping systems and degree requirements policies as

reflected by the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers' national policies and

procedures is desirable. Experience in medical school or graduate/professional student services is desirable.
