Registrar Services Specialist

The University of Iowa, Carver College of Medicine is seeking an Registrar Services Specialist to provide Registrar services for students and graduates of the College of Medicine, including enrollment, education, and degree verification. To coordinate scheduling and registration process and to maintain academic records for students. To support preparation of reports and statistics regarding enrollment. To assist with the planning, organization and coordination of special events for students in the College of Medicine. Key Areas of Responsibility: Registration and Enrollment Services; Degree Progression; Records Management; Scheduling Classroom Assignments; Systems Support and Development: Data Collection, Analysis
Required Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent education and experience is required. One to three years of related registrar support or students services experience in a university setting. Must be proficient in computer software packages, databases, spreadsheet programs and online systems. Demonstrated evidence of a commitment to diversity in the educational community. Excellent written and oral communication skills are required. The successful candidate should enjoy working with students and as a member of a team. Desired qualifications: Experience working with medical health science or graduate/professional students is desirable. A working knowledge of the University of Iowa, MAUI and ICON
